Service Description
The American Red Cross Asthma and Anaphylaxis Medication Administration course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and respond to asthma and anaphylaxis emergencies. Course Topics Include: Recognizing the signs and symptoms of an asthma attack and anaphylaxis, legal considerations for administering emergency medications, steps for administering quick-relief asthma medications via inhaler and nebulizer, and the steps for administering epinephrine using an auto-injector. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a digital certificate for Asthma and Anaphylaxis Medication Administration, valid for 2 years.
